Erica O'Lenick OD

Dr. Erica O'Lenick joined the Santamaria Eye Center in 2014. She graduated Cum Laude from the College of Staten Island, CUNY in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Realizing her passion for medicine, Dr. O'Lenick began working in eyecare in 2007. She later went on to receive her Doctorate in Optometry in 2014 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.


Dr. O'Lenick's clinical externships include an extensive rotation at the Lyon's Veteran's Hospital in Lyon's, NJ, a pediatric rotation at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, intense training in ocular pathology and anterior segment diseases, as well as contact lenses. She is also a member of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.


Dr. O'Lenick offers general ocular health exams, treatment and management of glaucoma and ocular disease, with special interest in Dry Eye Disease. She also offers routine and specialty contact lens fittings, with special interest in scleral lenses for patients with keratoconus and corneal irregularities. She believes strongly in the importance of patient education, and always takes the time to work one on one with patients to achieve their visual goals.
